With more than 15 years experience, managing many quality and continuous improvement projects and programs; Michelle develops and facilitates courses in the areas of project management, process documentation, conflict management, time management, and effective leadership; and has directed and achieved ISO 9000 registrations, quality awards and state and local certifications.
Yes, she did spend seven years with the Kentucky Lottery, and no, she cannot tell you what the winning numbers will be this weekend. She can, however, talk for hours about project and portfolio management, PMI methodology, earned value management, disaster recovery, business continuity, strategic planning, and quality system development, among other things.
Michelle has served as an examiner for the KY State Quality Award using Malcolm Baldridge Quality System Criteria, and earned certification as an instructor in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. She is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and the Kentuckiana PMI Chapter, the Director of Special Projects for KIPMI, an instructor for the Center for Quality in Management (CQM) and is ITIL V2 Foundation Certified. Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
